Abstract:

Evaluation of the efficiency of coal washing equipment according to Vietnam standards TCVN 6256:2007 (equivalent to the international standards ISO 923:2000) is too complicated in terms of calculations. The process takes a lot of time due to a large volume of data to be processed. In the current practice, this kind of work is carried out manually by the experts. The paper is to present the results of the study on developing of a software for evaluating the efficiency of gravity separators in mineral processing plants. The software has been tested by a number of test runs with the real collected data. The results have shown the correctness and high accuracy. The software has brought the significant efficiency in terms of time and labor consumed for the calculations.
