Abstract:
Based on the studies of geological structure, hydrogeology, topology, geomorphology and meteorology; this article presents the characteristics of the formation, distribution of karst and karstic water in Northeast Vietnam. Characteristics and formation of karst conditions of the study area consists of the conditions such as the presence soluble rocks, faults, water and the movement of water; combined with climatic conditions favorable for the formation and development of karst. Through these features storage, movement, dynamics, chemical composition of water in carbonate formations and on the basis of research results topographical features geomorphological, geological structure, the authors have divided karstic water in Northeast into 6 regions. Karst groundwater Northeast Vietnam has the potential exploitable reserves are relatively large (approximately 10.271.210 million m3/d), but not evenly distributed. Type of groundwater chemistry is mainly related to the dissolution process, driftwood, karstic water in Northeast is recharged by rain water and surface water. Drainage areas are the network domain local erosions.
