Abstract:
The method of determining each component’s general index of GIS evaluated model of environmental quality has taken some advantages compared to the conventional weighted method. By using an key - indicator for each component in a defined space and specified time will allow to determine the changes of variable environmental quality. Therefore, the results can not only reflect the overall picture of the current state of the environment in the study area, but also simulate and predict the changes, so economic efficiency will be higher. In this paper, the author uses that method to assess the current status of soil environmental quality of Hoa Binh Province based on a general indicator of the 4 basic soil components: soil organic matter (OM), Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorus. The results show that the quality of the land in Hoa Binh is an alarming situation of the recession; especially in the region itself in poor nutrition (ex: limestone).
