Abstract:

The paper analyzes the structures of the existing wells which can be used to make a sidetrack well. On the basis of classifying structure wells, combined with the analysis of geological features and position of sidetrack, two proposed types of casing structure of wells at Vietsovpetro have been applied to 9X well with the success, which provides the basis for widely application for the next ones in the future.
