Abstract:
During the operation, Thong Nhat coal mine has annually treated a great amount of wastewater before discharged into natural environment. This paper describes the in-situ process for wastewater treatment and synthesizes wastewater quality results monitored in 2016, 2017 and Quarters 1-2 /2018 at Lo Tri area, Thong Nhat coal mine. The authors collect and analyze wastewater samples at Adit +13. The results from laboratory analysis and previous monitoring indicate that there are seven typical contaminants at Lo Tri area Thong Nhat coal mine wastewater, which are pH, BOD, COD, TSS, Fe, Mn and Coliform. This paper confirms that the current wastewater processing technology at the mine is capable of ensuring wastewater quality according to QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT.
