Abstract:

The paper introduce a method to improve the positioning accuracy of the Global Positioning System in establishing surveying control network and topographic mapping. First, the paper review the pros and cons of two positioning method such as Real - time Kinematic Positioning (RTK) and Post - Processing Kinematic Positioning (PPK). A PPK metthod using multi Base station is proposed. The experimental result indicated that the proposed method is enable to improve the positional accuracy to about 25÷50% compared to using the single Base station.
