Abstract:

Diverse ore types of Fe, Cr, Mn, Ni, Co, W, Mo, etc. formed from different genetic deposits including magmatic, skarn, pegmatite, hydrothermal, stratiform, etc. have occurred in Vietnam. They have various characteristics in mineralogy and textures. The economic ore mineralogies are prodominantly dominated by sulphide, oxide, hydroxide and carbonate minerals, whereas the textures of ores includes various types such as massive, patches, lenses, veins, dissemination, banded or layered, etc. This paper summaries and details the mineral and textural characteristics of ores in some genetic deposits in Vietnam
